The Singapore Vegetarian
Society have joined the meatless day campaign. The have
come up with their own version of the meatless day pledge
form. Their latest count is over 400 pledges collected
mostly from their activities in conjunction with World
Animal Day.
They are officially launching their
campaign at the Woodlands Community Club, Woodlands
in conjunction with a Red Cross blood donation drive
between 10am to 4pm.. They are having a press conference
to announce their campaign. Besides that, they are contacting
food outlets in the hope of persuading them to join
if not help in the campaign.

on their website and they hope it will also bring them
more pledges
Meanwhile the Sadhu Vaswani Centre
in Singapore will move pass around pledge forms in an
effort to canvass for pledges. Their efforts will intensify
after their Diwali Celebrations.
